This part controls boost pressure by bypassing exhaust gases from the exhaust manifold before they pass through the turbocharger, thereby suppressing the turbocharger's function. It is necessary when using a turbocharger that does not have an actuator valve.
The valve diameter lineup includes the 50mm Type R, the 50mm Type C with a stainless steel housing and heat insulator, and the 60mm Type C High Flow. Various types can be selected depending on the primary exhaust pressure and target boost pressure. Reinforced springs are also available for those who need to increase boost pressure. This meets the needs of users who pursue the limits of performance on closed courses.
- When the turbine capacity is increased, for example, the actuator system may become insufficient, making it impossible to release the increased pressure of the exhaust gas.
