In recent years, the development of extended lower control arms for the front suspension, significantly increased steering angle knuckles, and high-grip tires has placed a greater burden on the power steering rack, leading to frequent cases of seal failure due to inability to withstand the pressure. Furthermore, genuine parts have become excessively expensive, and due to the high rate of failures, remanufactured parts are also in short supply. Therefore, D-MAX has developed a solution based on the Nissan Silvia S14. We are currently testing the compatibility of details such as genuine oil seals, and will inform you of the results as soon as they are available. The durability of the steering rack varies greatly depending on the power steering oil, so D-MAX recommends SUNOCO oil, which has a proven track record in D1GP participating vehicles.
