Shortly after its release, driver Shoki Tanaka fitted this suspension and won his first victory at the D1 Street Legal Suzuka Twin, then carried that momentum to the series championship. The following year, D-MAX driver Yokoi also fitted it, and once again a car equipped with Super Street took the series title. During development, drivers including Yokoi, Tanaka, and Nakamura took part, repeatedly testing the damper damping force and spring rates to create this model. With its wide range of settings, it is a model well suited to the drift category, performing from the street to circuit driving and competition events.
