If blow-by gas is returned directly to the engine, it can not only reduce combustion efficiency and degrade engine oil, but the moisture and oil contained in the blow-by gas can adhere to the airflow sensor, compression sensor, surge tank, throttle valve, spark plug, and piston head on the intake side, causing them to malfunction.

An oil catch tank is a part that keeps the inside of the engine clean by collecting blow-by gases in a tank before returning them to the intake side, separating the oil and water, and storing them there. In addition, it catches engine oil that is ejected along with blow-by gases during high-RPM driving, such as on a race track, thus preventing the road surface from getting dirty.
