The hub unit carries the entire load of the car through the wheel. On modern drift cars — with high-angle knuckles, extended lower arms and high-grip tyres — the load placed on the hub unit is far greater than stock parts were designed for, and play develops quickly. OEM parts have become expensive and good used units are increasingly hard to find. This unit was developed through repeated street and drift testing, and is proven on D1 competition cars.
