I have loved cars ever since I was a child, and ever since I was fascinated by the demo runs by drift drivers at the Tokyo Auto Salon and the anime Initial D, I have always had a desire to become a D1 driver. During my junior high school years, I studied abroad for three years and learned about drift competitions held in international competitions outside of Japan, which led me to dream of becoming a drift driver who can compete overseas.
My dream is to become a driver who can pass on the charm of drifting to the younger generation, just like the drift drivers who gave me excitement and joy when I was young. We would like to invigorate the drifting industry and convey the appeal of drifting to as many people as possible.
It has been a long journey to get to where we are now, but thanks to everyone who has supported us, we have been able to complete our second season by achieving our dream of participating in the D1GP series starting in 2022.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the team, sponsors, and fans for allowing me to run through this series with them and for allowing me to stand on this big stage.
I will make use of what I have learned and felt in each race and strive to become a driver who can contribute to the marketing of the drifting industry for the sake of the people who are currently supporting me. Thank you for your continued support.
I have loved cars since childhood, and ever since I was fascinated by the drift demonstrations by drivers at the Tokyo Auto Salon and the anime Initial D, I have always held the aspiration of becoming a D1 driver close to my heart.
I had the opportunity to learn about drift competitions in international events outside of Japan during my three years of studying abroad in junior high school. This became the trigger for my dream of becoming a drift driver who can shine overseas in the future.
I want to invigorate the drift industry in Japan and convey the charm of drifting to many people.
The journey so far may have been a detour, but thanks to the support of everyone, I was able to achieve my childhood dream of participating in the D1GP series starting from 2022 and completing the second season.
I sincerely express my gratitude for being able to stand on this grand stage, and for being able to complete the series with the support of the team, sponsors, and fans. I will continue to strive to become a driver who can contribute to the marketing of the drift industry as soon as possible, for the sake of those who support me now, utilizing what I have learned and felt in every battle. 2024 RACE ENTRY
DRIFT MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIP
Report on 2024 participation
In 2024, it has been decided that the team will compete in all races of the Drift Masters European Championship (DMEC).
I have been given the opportunity to participate as a works driver for "Team DRIFTGAMES", which is based in Ireland.
Thanks to the people who support me, I was given the opportunity to compete in the overseas Drift Masters series, which has long been my goal, and I am grateful for that.
As a Japanese driver, I would like to give my all in every race so that I can make the most of this valuable experience.
The car we will be competing in is the S15 Silvia that we used in last year's D1 Grand Prix, but with a European makeover. As for tires, we will once again be using PERGEA 08RS tires, with the support of VALINO TIRES!
The event will be streamed on the "Team DRIFTGAMES Official YouTube Channel" and DMEC's "RED BULL TV Channel."
I'm excited to be able to race on the same stage as top drivers from all over the world.
At the same time, I am also worried about the differences in courses, machines, rules, etc. in European countries. I think there will be many unimaginable difficulties waiting for me, but this is very important for me to grow as a driver, so I will definitely overcome them and become stronger.
I will strive to improve my level in every race and do my best to win.
Together with my teammates, we will continue to work hard to spread the appeal of DRIFT, which originated in Japan, to as many people as possible, so we ask for your continued enthusiastic support this season.
Announcement of participation in 2024
In 2024, it has been decided that I will challenge all rounds of the Drift Masters European Championship (DMEC).
I am honored to participate as a works driver for "Team DRIFTGAMES" based in Ireland. I am grateful for the opportunity to compete in the overseas series that I have always aimed for, the Drift Masters, thanks to those who support me.
As a Japanese driver, I want to make the most of this valuable experience and give my all in every race. The car will be the S15 Silvia used in last year's D1 Grand Prix, modified for European specifications.
This year, I will be supported by VALINO TIRES and will compete with the PERGEA 08RS!
The participation will be broadcasted on the Team DRIFTGAMES official Youtube channel, DMEC, and REDBULL channel.
I am excited to be able to run on the same stage as top drivers from around the world. At the same time, I have some concerns about the differences in courses, cars, and rules in various European countries. I believe that many unexpected difficulties are waiting, but overcoming them is crucial for my growth as a driver, and I will become stronger.
I will strive to level up in every race and aim for victory with all my effort. Furthermore, I will continue to work hard with my team members to convey the charm of DRIFT, originating from Japan, to more people. I kindly ask for your continued passionate support this season.
